FESTER is a daily ritual app for iPhone, made by Alyara Apps Studio LLC. This page says what FESTER keeps, why it keeps it, and how you remove it.

What you give FESTER

• Your sign-in: your Apple ID sign-in or your email address. If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, we get only Apple’s relay address.
• Your birth date, birth time and birth city, and the city you live in now. FESTER uses them to find your birth star, your dasha period and your sunrise.
• What you write in the app: your focus areas, your intentions, your evening check-ins and your reflections.
• Your recordings, only if you use “Say it” to record your daily line.
• A partner’s name and birth details, only if you add a partner. Your partner has no account and gives nothing through the app.

Why FESTER keeps it

To work out your chart and today’s sky, to write your daily line, and to keep your record of past days. FESTER does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Where it is stored

Your account and what you write are stored with Supabase, our database provider, in the United States. The rules on the database let only your own account read or change your rows. Your recordings sit in a private storage folder that only your account can open.

Writing your daily line

FESTER uses Anthropic’s Claude API to write two things:

• Your personal daily line, a FESTER Plus feature. For this, FESTER sends the sky facts (today’s lunar day, the Moon’s star, your birth star and your Moon sign) and the life areas you chose. If the Settings switch “Use my intention in the daily line” is on, it also sends the words of your newest open intention. It does not send your name, your email or your birth date.
• A rehearsal for an intention. For this, FESTER sends the life area and the words of that one intention.

Anthropic returns the text to FESTER. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, it does not use this data to train its models.

Purchases

FESTER Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and FESTER never sees your card details. RevenueCat, our subscription provider, receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase status so the app knows which plan you have.

Reminders

If you turn on reminders, your iPhone schedules them on the device. FESTER sends no push data to a server for this.

Deleting your data

Open Settings in the app and choose to delete your account. FESTER then removes your account, your chart details, your intentions, your reflections, your partner details and your recordings. You can also email us and we will do it for you.

Children

FESTER is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
